Everyone Is Having Sex in Their Childhood Bedroom When Home For the Holidays, Survey Says

A new study examines “holiday hanky-panky.”

The holiday season is here — which is good news for the half of Americans who admit they’re much more frisky during the holidays.

This saucy news comes from a new study examining “holiday hanky-panky,” which also found that nearly three in four Americans polled (70 percent) typically have sex on Christmas Day. Well, happy birthday, Jesus!

In addition to that, nearly half the country (44 percent) already has sex scheduled in the planner this Christmas Day. December 25 = SEX. Got it.

The survey of 2,000 Americans conducted by EdenFantasys also found that while having sex over the holidays while visiting family may be tricky, it certainly doesn’t stop that many people. Nearly half those polled (47 percent) say they’ve had sex in their old childhood bedroom while visiting their family with a partner and 39 percent have done the deed in a partner’s childhood bedroom while visiting their family.

But is that a good idea?

Not for some. One in four Americans say that they’ve been walked in on by their parents or their partner’s parents while engaging in some “Christmas delight.”

Because of the fear of getting caught (when someone inevitably pops in to see if that’s Santa making all that noise), some venture to odd places to get busy with their partner while staying with family over the holidays. One respondent ventured to an outdoor basketball court. Another had sex behind the family Christmas tree, while someone else admitted to actually sneaking onto the roof of the house to have sex.

Yeah, that’s not Santa’s reindeer. That’s Uncle Joe.

“According to the National Center for Health Statistics, months August and September have the most births each year,” said Fred Petrenko of EdenFantasys. “This corresponds perfectly with our findings of Americans being quite frisky during the holidays. We all love winter cuddles.”

As for Christmas music as a turn-on (yeah, it’s a thing), according to the survey, 33 percent find “Jingle Bells” to be a perfectly suitable background song for sex. My goodness, who are these people?

Another 28 percent would get busy to “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and one in four (26 percent) would be comfortable with “Jingle Bell Rock” blaring on the speakers.

Talking gifts… 47 percent of Americans say they’ve just gifted sex to their partner for the holidays. Uh, OK, thank you. How thoughtful.
